PINE PANTHERS NETBALL CLUB
We are a family- and community-oriented club driven by a shared passion for netball. Our aim is to promote netball as a healthy, fun, and inclusive team sport, providing a competitive yet enjoyable environment for all players.
Our committee is made up of a small group of dedicated parents, many of whom have daughters playing netball or are actively involved as coaches or umpires at Pine Panthers. Several committee members also hold positions on subcommittees within the PRNA. Together, they work tirelessly to ensure the club operates smoothly throughout the year and that every player enjoys a positive and rewarding netball season.
We are proud of our wonderful members and volunteers who generously contribute their time, whether through fundraising events, assisting at netball carnivals, or helping with working bees at the PRNA courts.
We look forward to welcoming back our returning members and warmly invite new members to join our club for the 2026 season.
Pine Panthers are looking forward to making it an even more successful & fun season for all players, umpires, spectators and volunteers!!!

HISTORY
Pine Panthers Netball Club was founded in 2001 by Debbie Lucas, Vicki Mouland, and Joan Bell.
These three passionate netball mums spent countless months researching and liaising with Netball Queensland before drafting the club’s constitution and officially establishing Pine Panthers as a club in 2001.
In its inaugural season, the club fielded three teams in the PRNA Winter competition—Under 12A, Inter 1, and Division 1—with outstanding results, including two Grand Final wins and a placing. By the second season in 2002, the club had experienced significant growth, expanding to 13 teams.
During this time, Pine Panthers set a new benchmark within PRNA. The club was the first to actively seek sponsorship, the first to introduce new pop-up carnival tents, and the first to appoint a Firebirds player, Karen Wright, as Club Patron. These achievements were just the beginning of many milestones to come.
We are extremely proud of the dedication, hard work, and passion these three remarkable women poured into the club during its early years. Their commitment and love for netball laid the foundation for the strong and successful club Pine Panthers Netball Club remains today.
